Like waves on the shore
Never stop rushing
Roaring and dashing
Pushing and hissing
Frothing and foaming
Restless forever
Such be their nature!
And fed up with itself
Restless monkey, the mind
Says No! No more!
Finally bows its head
Dives deep within…
No wave, no foam
No swirling fury
Neither tide nor whirlpool
Dare enter here
For they all are consumed
In the living silence!
Dramas and sensations
Desires and thoughts
Lusts and fancies
Every care and worry
All melt into self!
Ha! Mere dreams, they were
In this ocean of awareness
Where all is peace
Contentment absolute.
