Katrikka - Eggplant / Aubergine / Brinjal

Katrikka is an eggplant / aubergine / brinjal which grows in many kitchen gardens around Wayanad. The plants are thornless, strong and can last for up to three years. The locals use the leaves too, for making toran, a stir fry.
