Curry leaves!

It is good to have a curry leaf plant at home. Curry leaves , which we buy from the market are usually full of pesticides and are grown on chemical fertilizers. It is easy to grow your own organic curry leaves anywhere on the ground as a tree or in a pot on your balcony. Sunlight, farm yard manure and a little cattle urine- not compulsory - in a well drained potting mix/ soil, works wonders! In summer, the plant outdoors can be protected with a blanket of sickled leaves/ grass at the base. This conserves water and gives excellent growth. Curry leaves love warm to temperate climate, but are not frost hardy. Have a glorious day!
