Cocoa pods (fruits), freshly plucked!

Cocoa pods (fruits), freshly plucked!
If you can grow just a tree or two of cocoa in your compound, you can have enough cocoa beans to make excellent, chemical free, homemade chocolate for your family. Cocoa trees grow well in the semi - shade too, so no extra space is required. Seedlings or grafts can simply be planted between large trees and they start yielding fruit from the 3rd year onwards. A little organic manure and some watering in summer doubles the yield! ❤
