A precious new guest in our vegetable garden. Unlike other cowpea beans which generally grow hanging down long and straight, this rare plant produces beans which start curling soon after they emerge from the blooms. As they grow, they curl back upon themselves, each quickly forming a beautiful ring! As for the taste, we have not cooked them yet, but the old farmer who gave me a few seeds assured me that they taste just fine!
